4th st. alley Downtown LA-1995- A couple guys chased me out for painting their alleyway.
Chicago- Southside of the city has some fantastic old factories with layers of textures perfect for watercolor.
Pasadena Ca- City Hall. During this phase of learning, I was concentrating on subtle green harmonies.
Burbank Ca. Painted this shortly after the metro rail began service back in the late '90's.

LA-This was based on an old round house used at the turn of the century.

LA- old train switching tower from 1900. The operator had been watching us paint and finally came out. He invited me inside and demonstrated how the switches worked. The tower was demolished a few weeks after this sketch was done.
